Yesterday we visited the English School in Gothenburg where students often come from families who have lived in various parts of the world. We gave two concerts in the hall before then taking lessons with the year 4 classes. One class had a beginners clarinet and trumpet lesson based on the Haringey Whole Class Instrumental Teaching method. The other class worked on various percussion rhythms leading up to a massed performance of Mission Impossible. We later returned to the Frölunda Cultural Centre for a massed rehearsal with young musicians from Gothenburg.
