A fun day

Today we began by visiting the Alfred Nobel museum which began with everyone being ushered quietly into the ballroom of Nobel's house and told to sit in silence. There was a waxwork dummy of Nobel sitting at his desk and the guide began to speak.  Everyone was taken by surprise when the dummy came to life and then told his own story!  We were enthralled and learnt a lot about the invention of dynamite and Nobel's will which led to the setting up of the Nobel prizes.

In the afternoon we all went to Bodaborg which is an adventure quest experience.  We had to split into teams and then attempt various challenges in a series of rooms.  The doors would only unlock to the next stage when you had solved the challenge.  Some of these were mind puzzles, others were physical challenges and some were a combination of the two including my favourite, a dance floor on which we worked out you had to dance then pause at appropriate moments in order to unlock the next door!  Most teams managed between four and six challenges during our four and a half hour stay!
